The Content Management System LightCMS has a number of standard templates provided.  These templates have content regions defined within them, where a content manager can place content to build the website.  The system is sufficiently flexible that you can create new content regions, as many as you wish.

This is done by using the 'Edit Source' option for the template in question.  Once doing so, simply add new regions as shown in the example below.

Once the changes are saved, those regions are then available for new content to be put into, or existing content to moved / relocated into.
